The commercial for it confuses me. They keep presenting this scene where Denzel walks up to the kid but they've shown him with three different lines. I've heard:
"I am here to help you keep your righteous mind."
"I am here to help you find your righteous mind."
And "I am here to help you get back your righteous mind."
Are they just trying it out, does he actually say all three of those lines, or do they keep changing their minds?

Find, keep, and get back to could be three different lines. Does he say all three in the same commercial? That would be weird. Apart from that, I'd guess you're hearing it funny.

Yes, but a movie about Denzel Washington inspiring children must be taken SERIOUSLY. Because it's SERIOUS.

The History Channel had a special last night, and I definitely saw Denzel say three phrases in one sentence-- " find, get back and keep" your rightous mind. Or words to that effect. Perhaps they edited for the trailers.

I thought "The Emperor's Club," was a cut above most inspirational teacher movies, because it shows the stakes when a teacher succeeds and fails. Forrest Whittaker's character looks to be the most compelling character in this movie, but I'm worried that everyone else is going to follow that black movie trope, "If you try hard, you can be just as fierce and competitive as white people." I don't mind that in sports movies, like Glory Road, but in real human matters, like education and ethics, I think it sends the wrong message. It's one of the reasons I wasn't a fan of "Pursuit of Happyness."
