My grandfather fell and gashed his head, and now they are deciding whether to do an operation. Please, please keep us in your prayers.

Grandpa died early Sunday morning; we've just gotten back from all the funeral stuff. My grandmother decided against the operation, which I think was the right decision -- Grandpa's had Alzheimer's for a while, and he would never have been able to do the rehab that would have been necessary after the brain surgery.

My condolences. My grandfather died last month, November 10th a day after my son turned 8. Even when you expect it, it's a shock, and when you don't I imagine it's even harder.

You are in my thoughts as you begin the recovery process.

My condolences to you and your family. My grandmother had Alzheimer's, so I know a little bit about the a similar situation, and it is never an easy situation.
