The Pacific Northwest Ballet and Maurice Sendak's somewhat darker take on the holiday classic.

Not perfect, but very interesting way of merging elements of the original story with the ballet.

My friend's sister is into ballet and the performing arts and we used to go see her every year in the Nutcracker here in Atlanta.

Cool.
This is the Nutcracker we go see every year and the one I judge all others by. (incidentally, the one Livvie hopes to be in someday. )It's astounding live- I get chills every time I see it.
