XXX
I refuse to see the new one. The old one made me go:
"Wait, WHAT happened?" It was awesome, but I feel bad for Norman, but it didn't make me cry or anything, 'course, only one movie ever has.

Just to be clear, it made me cry because it was such a horrible movie.

It's a remarkable movie. I believe the first in which the person who appears to be the protaganist dies before the movie is even a third of the way through. The cinematography, performances and script are also well done. It's one of those black-and-white movies that feel simultaneously modern and timeless.

Which of course makes the remake all the sillier.

What do you expect from Vince Vaungh? I mean, in Pyscho? I mean that totally screams: "What are you doing in this hotel, stupid?! Didn't you see who's at the desk?" No. Anthony Perkins was young and cute, so you didn't expect him.
