I just finished watching Snow Cake (just five minutes ago) and I think You should give it a chance. It has Professor Snape and the super-heroine from the Aliens, and it's Absolutely perfect.
And if you're like me and watch movies on you personal computer, definitely watch it with headphones. The music does a lot of wonderful and subtle stuff.
Did anyone else see it?

Awww, I assumed that it was going to be fantasyesque, because of the actors. A pox on you!

I thought it was going to be a bonding film between a young teenager and a frumpy old man, but then five more seconds of the trailer happened.
I'd still give it a chance, it seems to "spoil" a lot but doesn't let on the whole energy of the film.

And here I thought this was going to be about a Japanese dessert I had one time called Snow Cake. Darn. Posted by The Flying Dracula Hair (Member # 10155) on :

Yay!
I was surprised to see in the credits the band who did the actual non-band music for the film is one I've ignored: Broken Social Scene. Is there a particular album of their's anyone recommends?
