The greatest manga I've ever read. Eichiro Oda tells a great story, through his pictures and dialogue he makes you love the characters. Every week I wait in anticipation for the next chapter.
The manga is about the adventures of the Straw-hat pirates as they travel the seas in search of the greatest treasure left behind by the pirate king Gol D. Roger. Monkey D. Luffy (the captain) searches for crew members along the way eventually collecting 8 crew members (so far) Each is essential (in luffy's mind) to the crew. A swordsman, a navigator, a cook, a doctor, a musician, a shipwright, an archeologist, and a sharp shooter. Each has their own dream that they would like to fullfil. They were all saved by Luffy in some way, and all feel that their dreams coincide with his dream of becoming the Pirate King.
This manga is a perfect story and is the only book that has caused me to cry
