Okay, so I went to bed last night at 11:00, bummed that the Sox had been drummed out of the series at home by the Rays.

I got to work this morning without having checked in with ESPN. So I just barely heard about the amazing come from behind win last night.

Go Sox!

On the flip side my beloved cougars were trounced by TCU. I had no idea BYU was going to put me through that much trauma in just the first quarter.

Linky.

It doesn't matter... Phillies win the World Series!

The Sox are leading tonight to force a game 7 as well, although they are only laying fairly well. They have stranded 9 so far......but they still have a 2 run lead going into the bottom of the 8th inning.

Never count anyone out, but it is looking good so far. [Smile]

Well...when you strand 3 people in the 8th you probably don't deserve to win.

At least they made a series of it. [Smile]

COngrats to the Rays.
Isn't this what baseball is supposed to be about? The young, exciting, group of kids tasting their first success, facing down the experienced, patient champs, in a game 7?

The rays were healthier this time of year, and they took advantage of that edge. Not saying the sox win if lowell and ortiz are healthy, but it certainly helped the rays, and that little edge was enough for them to take the series.

There's a new power rising in the east, and they will be here for 2-3 years, and if they can lock up some more of those young players, maybe for a decade.

I'm in Boston this week. People were much happier yesterday than they are this morning.

No kidding.

I'm happy for the Rays, though. They're having a great Cinderella season, and it's nice they got to go to the ball.

What are you doing in Boston, Rabbit? Is there a conference or something?

I am not happy for the Rays. They are from our division AND they eliminated us.

Go Phillies!

I'm not happy for the Rays, either. I was... because of the whole worst to first thing... but now that I've heard they want to build a whole new stadium right on the water where there's a park right now, I feel like them losing is better for the park...

This is where y'all blame the Yankees, right?

Nah, now that you've spent yourself back to 80s irrelevancy, no one cares about you guys, except maybe the sports radio guys with hours to kill.

The who? Yankees?

Never heard of them. Must be AAA ball.

Wait....didn't one of their coaches just get promoted to the big leagues? That's right....they are the Dodger's farm team!

Silly me.....
