Well I must say that I am terribly upset that Steam did not see fit to allow people to predownload the game as the game clocks in at 15gbs. Now I really wish I had just waited for the store version to come out as tomorrow is going to be terrible.

Impressions to come later, hopefully it will all be worth it.

Hmmmmm, maybe its time to finally upgrade...
If any people start playing this with single core machines, tell me how it goes and exactly what you're using, thanks.

Pretty sure the minimum req are dual core Mucus, but then again I suppose you could still do the grand campaign mode and not personally manage the battles.

Blayne: 1V1 is inevitable. Besides, Britain winning Bunker Hill and Rebels winning at Camden is pure awesome.

Well, I checked and not according to their website anyways.

Still, I might hold off anyways and wait till I can get some good recession deals on computer equipment so I can play it properly. It doesn't seem like the stores around here have been hit hard enough to make any enticing enough deals yet.

I play MTWII all the time and have been looking forward to this game for more than a year. Sadly, I'm not really sure if my laptop will be able to handle it or not. I might buy it and give it a try and just keep it around if the laptop fritzes out on me too much, but this game looks totally sweet.

I await reviews.

Wow all 15gbs downloaded last night!? Just started The Road to Independence, I felt kinda guilty slaying Iroquois for no solid reason.

I am at the Battle of Bunker Hill, and have to stop. Time to start my first day at work. [Smile]

Just finished, "The Road to Independence." I was kinda sad that it ended so early, word of advice, capture another city as soon as possible because "The British Are Coming!" I was sad that it ended so quickly, I was hoping that there would be more historical battles to play through optionally. I've found that I just don't know a thing about fighting naval battles, I get smoked every time. I ended up winning TRTI campaign by pure land war. I managed to capture Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Montreal, Quebec, Acadia, and one other place I can't recall for some reason. I've found that alliances didn't seem to do much for me. France was useless in dealing with Britain, and my Indian allies weren't much of an improvement. The only plus with my Indian allies is that it seems that at least The Cherokee are loath to break treaties so at least I didn't have to worry about being stabbed in the back.

I've still got the Grand Campaign to try out.

This sounds like so much fun. I really loved Rome TW, but since those days I've moved on to a Mac, and haven't had the time to pirate a copy of windows so I can dual boot. This may just be the push I need since Apple really lacks an equivalent to the TW series.

It could be a battle between oranges. That would be a colorful conflict, if a little fruity.
