Those inaccurate Amazon release dates have a nasty habit of raising false hopes, eh?

I found the author's attitude about how brilliant his boks are to be a little off-putting. Is he really that great?

I can only speak for myself, but I loved The Name of the Wind.
Of course, I'm waiting for book 2 before I decide if it's a Great Work or just a fluke.

I also really loved The Name of the Wind.
Also, judging by his writing style...he is very snarky and sarcastic. His comments about how brilliant his books are likely partially ego, but also partially joking around.

Name of the Wind was good. I'm looking forward to the 2nd as well.
