Maybe you've heard of Igudesman and Joo? I don't work for them and I don't personally know them. But I'm a huge fan! They are comedians in the world of classical music, and their show, called A Little Nightmare Music, scheduled tour dates in the U.S. this fall! Americans, please note listed dates on their website. There are also show dates in Canada and Europe.

Pieces of an early show:
Mozart Bond
I Will Survive
Rachmaninoff had big hands

I just wanted to share this bit of information with Orson Scott Card, if he happens to see this, and fellow fans of his work. I saw a late September date in Greensboro and impulsively thought, "That's where OSC lives." So, impulsively, I came here to give the shout-out.

Sharing is caring. And I care about OSC, his work, the kindred spirit of loving his work, Igudesman and Joo, their work, and the kindred spirit of loving their work. To post like this satisfies my spontaneous urge to share the care.

And so ends the sharing.

Welcome to Hatrack, jae-in. OSC doesn't drop in much these days, but you'll find many other folks 'round here.

I'd never heard of these guys before. They're fun -- somewhat reminiscent of Victor Borge, who I adore.

Thanks for the links! [Smile]

I love Victor Borge! though I found out about him only after I found Igudesman and Joo on the internet. The two admire Borge, apparently and unsurprisingly. Wonderful people.

That's pretty funny. Don't miss P.D.Q.Bach, as well. Another example from the Department of Musical Pathology. [Smile]

I can't find anything good by P.D.Q. Bach on youtube at the moment. They're all dumb. But He's got a lot of funny music too that I've heard in the past.
