I was going to devote a thread to it being Friday the 13th, but then I vaguely remembered there being something about August 13th.
And while checking a newssite I found that today is International Lefthandedness Day.

So to all of you out there who are a member of this particular minority: [Hat] for having to cope with a lot of very small annoyances in daily life.

But at least we can take comfort in the fact that many famous people share this distinction.

Party on!

I'm sort of a heretic lefty. I write with my left hand, but do just about everything else with my right.

Yay for lefties!

I'm like you, BlackBlade. I adapted to a world where everything is made for right-handers by learning how to do a lot of things with my right hand.

It has caused some confusion, though, writing with my left hand and doing everything else with my right. I have a terrible time with left and right. It's not instinctive with me. If someone says I need to turn right, I have to think about it for a few seconds before knowing which way to go.

My sis and I are lefties. My wife is too.

Of our two boys, the youngest is a southpaw.

Now, my younger brother had dyslexia. I've always read that being a lefty is associated with this learning disability. We were anxious that our one of our kids might show this, but so far no problem. [Cool]

the emoticon is left handed too! [Hat]
