Wow! What a beatiful reminder that pregnancy and childbirth can be just another part of life.

That's pretty darn cool, Raia. I think I've only ever heard one other childbirth story before that didn't focus on the screaming pain and ridiculous numbers of hours involved. It's nice to get the reminder that it might not have to be like that.

Oh, I just read that on your blog last night! Such a neat story. :-)

And congrats on the new job, btw!

Yeah, it was a reminder to me too... part of what made the whole experience so magical. [Smile]

J, thanks! I'm flattered that you're reading my blog. [Smile] I'm pretty excited about the new job, too!

Wonderful. I wonder how many other children that woman had given birth to? She sounds like an amazing person.

Awesome. [Smile] You started by doing the mitzvah of visiting a friend for Shabbat, and that led to the mitzvah of helping a complete stranger have a baby!

Only in Israel. [Big Grin]

And congrats on the job. Sounds like an awesome opportunity!

I delivered one in a Wal-Mart lobby when I was in MD during my stint in the Army. It was gross......and amazing.

One of my high points of nursing school was seeing a C-section.
