This election, the Citizens United case has been getting a lot of press. Every time I hear about it, I think of this story.

This is not an attempt to make a case for Citizens United, but it's probably the only story I've heard that really tries to address the decision from both sides. And it does a very good job of showing this as a more complex issue than is generally reported. I doubt it will change anyone's mind, but whatever you think about campaign finance, this may at least give you a little sympathy for people who disagree with you, which is always a good thing.

Why Is a Corporation a Person?

Warning: there's a lot of filler in this episode. It spends as much time telling how the story was made as it does telling the story itself. When the clip loads, it will start counting down from 24:29. If you want to get to the good parts, skip to (19:30-14:45) and then to (8:50-2:10).

That is a cool name, dude. Did you go out dressed like him because that would have ROCKED.

And I will watch that a bit later.

I did not, but that's a good idea. Maybe next year. [Smile]
