This video was posted recently online and has already gotten a lot of plays, but I wanted to share it here in its own thread because it's possibly the most adorable thing I've ever seen.

Apparently, Juliet is the daughter of Australian record producer Rob Sharpe who produced this video.

I dare you to watch it and not smile.

I think the Toddlers and Tiaras comparison is unfounded. This is just a video of a little 8 year old girl singing her first song. Not dolled up or anything. It was fun.

I just got that icky parent exploiting child feeling watching it...

I didn't. It reminded me more of Reality Changers(Jorge Narvaez featuring Alexa Narvaez) here , in concept. Not exploiting, just letting the kid indulge herself and have some fun.

Your comparison leads me to believe that it was intended to be provocative and this video isn't at all.

The kid in the video is clearly having too much fun doing it for it to be any sort of exploitation.

A quick glance at the youtube comments remind me why I come here daily.

I ended up watching it. While I didn't get the vibe the girl was being exploited, I find Toddlers and Tiaras to be completely unwatchable. I just convulse through feelings of intense sorrow and anger.

"Your comparison leads me to believe that it was intended to be provocative and this video isn't at all."

I think it was intended to further the dad's career.
