Oh earth is definately around, and I don't know where you got that legend from. Grego talks about studying and working there with that spaceship thing.

P.S. Nice title. Its good to know there are some people out there as hopeless and spulling as me. [Big Grin]

I didnt mean that Earth was a myth i meant it was known to be a factual place but they act as if no one knows how to get there or something.

I think it has something to do with the fact that if you decided to hop a ship and go there, you would probably never see anyone you loved again.

While you are "jetting" through the galaxy for two weeks, they are all aging by 20 years. It's kind of like people in the 1800's who left Europe for America: "Kiss 'em goodbye."

As you might remember, two of the children on Lusitania are to be sent back to the Vatican to be properly punished for their crimes against the Xenology laws.

I sort of imagined the Vatican as being its own planet. Wouldn't that be cool? [Evil]

That would put the vatican in an awfully alone and vulnerable position...don't you think? Or is that what you were already thinking? [Evil Laugh]

I was under the impression that the Shadow series take place on Earth... other than in Ender's Shadow when Bean is at battle school. I thought that the rest of Earth was where the majority of that series took place, with everyone being sent home after the buggers are defeated... or aren't defeated... you know what I mean.

the shadow books DO take place on earth, but Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, and Children of the Mind do not.
