This theory can be put to at any given moment, but i just enjoy saying it in the following part.

What if you were to escape a new year for a day. In scientifical terms it is possible. Even though it would cost a little pennie. You start wherever december 31st falls on the first( time zone wise). When it comes close to new years, you quickly (in my idea) fly over to the next time zone, thus it is 11:00 PM and you have escaped new years. You could then do that 23 (not counting the following trip) more times, because of the next 23 time zones. So when you get to the starting zone, it is a day later.

Then if you apply this to foward time zone travel you can travel into the future (once again in scientifical terms). Think about it, if you travel foward through the time zones hours are going from 5:00 Pm to 6 o clock, then so on and so on. Though your not escaping anything but actually going into a day that hasnt reached a section of earth yet.

I'm sure people do this everyday without reliezing it. Buisness men, familys on vacation, whenever going by plane. This whole thing is logical in most sense.

Except for the international dateline, that is.

Cross it going east, you add a day, cross it going west, you subtract a day.

For more, see here.

Or, as always, there's our old friend.

But then again, time is only a concept, figurative. It's merely the measurment of the earth's rotation on it's axis, then compare that to the rotation of it around the sun, and so forth.

We made up time as a form of organization, so it's artificial. So what are you really doing with those timezones? What have you really accomplished? Absolutely nothing because matter is still moving the same as if you hadn't done anything.

Now here's my question. If time speeds up around you when you're traveling at relativistic speeds. If you were to go really really slowly, could you slow down time that's around you?

CREATION IS CUBIC, but
you are educated singularity
stupid by academic bastards.
Greenwich 1 day time is evil.
I know that you possess the
mind to think that there are 4
simultaneous 24 hour days
within a single Earth rotation,
I think that you are just evil.
Can you explain the 4 days
rather than the 1 day taught?
If not, you are truely stupid.
To ignore the 4 days, is evil.

If I understand that goobledeegook correctly, Larry Niven had something similar in Ringworld, where one of the characters extended his birthday by teleporting himself around the world to keep ahead of the date change.
