Warning, slight spoiler for thoughs who havn't read Enders Shadow


Okay, I just got done rereading Ender's Shadown, and I was just wondering: Where did they get the recording set to record Achilles conffession? It was kinda hard for Julian (Bean(stupid)) to perswade (I hope I'm spelling that right) to get the wire for the battles, it would of probly been impossible to get a recording set.

Remember that Bean had access to all sorts of stuff that most of the students didn't.

If the desk didn't have a microphone, it almost certainly had a speaker, and I'm sure Bean could have reversed the polarity on it to turn it into a mic. You can make an output an input, even by accident.

Not that he couldn't have just "borrowed" one from a teacher as well.

Bean had trouble finding stuff that would be any good in a battle, there wasn't any shortage of electrical equipment at Battle School.
