One thing that I'd like to see from Card is him putting estimated release dates for his upcoming books. Like for instance, if he starts a new project and is quarter done it and is sure that it'll be one that'll be finished (dunno if there even is any that he doesn't complete) than maybe he could post a release date even estimating what quarter of the year it's estimated to come out so his fans have some idea what to expect and how long they're gonna be waiting for.

Such a thing already exists on this very site. However, it stay hopelessly out of date.

This tells you two things: OSC also thinks this is important, but not important enough to stay current.

More accurately, I don't think he always knows when the books will be finished. He typically works on about 6 things at once, it seems.

We put up the word as soon as we know for sure ... and then remember to do it. We'll try to do better.

But remember that even "firm" release dates are not firm - if we set a laydown date, and somebody at B&N or Borders sets the book out a week early or a week late, there's not much we can do about it. It takes Harry-Potterish clout to truly control the laydown date.

Oh, I never knew. Where can I find the estimated release dates? I couldn't find them on the site.

Plus if OSC tries to put up release dates for things he is working on some of us might get mad about the books that never get finished...like Lovelock!
