In the intro to CotM, OSC refrences an African writer and a literary genre, what are their names?

There is no intro to CotM, only the afterword, which concerns the Japanese ideas in the book--is that what you wanted? Or is it in a different book, maybe?

You're right, it's in the afterword, but it's definatle African, not Japanese (there are a lot of Japanese topics in the Afterword, but this isn't one of them.)
