OSC I was wondering if u would ever consider coming to Canada for a tour. It would be amazing to meet you and not have to cross borders. There are so many fans this side of the border and like the man said

Yes, indeed, Needs of The Many, go eat more. Right now. Needs Of The Few still has 3 or 4 kilos on you.

Please ignore me.
Although it would be fabulous if OSC came to Canada. Preferably Toronto or Montreal area (it's a kinda big place).
Hmm. I'm not sure you could justify a break from his usual U.S. tour to go to Canada with that quote, though. There are many loyal Canadian fans, or course, but it's a well known fact that Canada has a far smaller population than the U.S... What to do.
Aha!
"The Needs of the Reasonably Many, A Much Higher Percentage Of Whom Live In A Small Number Of Dense Urban Areas, Outweigh The Needs Of The Great Many, Who Have Had Their Fair Share And Are Spread Out All Over The Place, And Hey, Do They Have Thier Cereal Boxes Printed In Two Languages? I Think Not!" -Uh, me. I am not Spock. But I am a fiesty princess strong in the ways of the force. Does that help?

If OSC came to Canada, particularly the southwestern Ontario area, I could definitely give him a tour. I think a tour of Canada would be a great idea. Who knows, he could stay here and study the people for a few months. Then he could write a new book set in the life of a typical Canadian hoser. I've already got some titles ready: 1. The Chesterfield Diaries 2. The long, long, long winter 3. Ender and the Canuck 4. Alvin Maker: The maple syrup city 5. The long, long, long road

Ah as a Edmontonian of Canada's great white north, I would love to see OSC up here. And kudos on the Atwood comment OSC - I just wrote a report on her for an english class last year and it was painful.

Margaret Atwood is an incredible writer, but only for those that can stomach her. I personally really enjoy the dryness, the barbs, and the negative personnification of humanity. As for OSC coming to Canada, I seriously think he should consider it-a short trip could be enlightening, and it wouldn't seriously hamper the writing process. Plus, our country's national security is run on the "Honour Code". Meaning you could walk right into Parliament undetected and pretend to rule the country.
