You know, I was just reading through a few snippets of Seventh Son, and I realized that we never get to know very many of Alvin's siblings. They play a few roles in Seventh Son, but beyond that, we almost never hear about any of them but Measure and Eleanor (and references to Vigor). I mean, I know that fourteen is a large amount of characters to flesh out, but he could have at least mentioned them a bit more. What are their knacks? What are they like? WHAT ARE THEIR NAMES?!

Offhand, having not read the books in a while, i distinctly remember Vigor, Wastenot and Wantnot, David, Calm, and Mary. Wastenot and Wantnot know when trouble's brewing, I think Calm had a way with the ladies (or maybe david) And Mary has a huge scene with Alvin in Seventh Son, with the roaches and the pins.
Of course, none of those knacks might have been mentioned in Seventh Son, but there are sequels.

Eleanor, Matilda, Beatrice, Elizabeth, Anne, and Mary were the girls, in age order.
Vigor, David, Calm, Wastenot, Wantnot, Measure, and Calvin would be the boys, also in roughly age order (not sure of David/Calm and the order of the twins).

Where did you get Matilda, Beatrice, and Elizabeth? I looked through Seventh Son and couldn't find them.

Measure is definitely older than the twins . . . maybe older than David, but Calm is definitely the oldest after Vigor.

In seventh son Measure is definitely older than both the twins, though he seems to be "at home" at an older age than any of the others. This always lead me to assume he was younger than both Calm and David. And all the boys are older than all the girls, except that Elenore is older than the twins.
