Achilles is better than Bean and Ender, so stop making Bean v Ender threads.

Really? That's the best you can do?

If Achilles is so great, why does he have a bullet hole in his head?

Well, it is obvious that If you make Achilles and Bean soup, Ender would >(hungry alligator) eat them. It's basically a mathmatical representation of Ender eating soup

No, Bean could easily beat both Achilles and Ender combined. He had already beat both of them.

Wrong. It's Ender eating pancakes.

Did you set up a logon and everything just to post that? Im open to any reasonable argument, why not explain what you mean in the interest of a discussion rather than a highly innacurate and only mildly annoying statement?

Probably.

In a google fight, "Achilles" loses to both "Ender" and "Bean".

You gave no parameters for your assertion.

Is it chess? Go? swordfighting? a fistfight? how is Achilles better?

Ultimately, BlueWizard is right. He got killed by Bean. If he is better, why is he dead?

Technically, if it's a contest between 3 people, it's "best", not "better".

I never found Achilles compelling. Only annoying. And the Bean books never did for me. Sure, he's smart, awesome, but Ender won, and the Bean books just weren't as interesting, because Bean never became a sympathetic character, in my opinion.

It kind of felt like the latter-day Star Wars to me, the whole bit. And I really tried, cos I love OSC's work... but yeah.

Sorry.
