Although I've browsed TVTropes before, I don't really know the lingo they use for the different entries but bear with me.
That wasn't OSC who did that entry, it was person who posted that first question/observation about how the Formics seemed surprised that humans would attack.

I take "Original Author" to mean "the one who started the thread", since all the posts are anonymous. "Original" wouldn't make sense if it was OSC (he's the only person who's written Ender books), he'd just say "author of Ender's Game" or his own name.

But this is a small-but-dedicated group of fans and semi-fans, and TVTropes is dedicated to deconstruction, something Card doesn't really do. Card is much more qualitative in his recommendations.
