Guys:

I just finished reading Empire and I noticed in Chapter 16 page 248. (The last page of the chapter if you have a different version of mine) that the characters compare Dr Torrent to Hari Seldon from Asimov's Foundation. However they use Hari Selden with an E and it is not a typo is mentioned three times in a single page.

I wonder how that could happen... OSC is a declared fan of Asimov. He even wrote a short story using Seldon as the main character.

This was brought up before in an Empire-bashing thread, and OSC's response was that mistakes happen. I was disappointed too.

I think you're referring to The Originist, in which Seldon shows up, but doesn't play the central role. That short story is my favorite Foundation spinoff, and that includes all the sequels and prequels Asimov himself tried to ratchet out.
