, and I enjoyed it immensely. It had been quite awhile since I found some time to read something other than a textbook. I'm hoping I can get a chance to read The Lost Gate as well.

Thank you very much, Mr. Card, for writing such an excellent story. I hope you do get better soon.

I was wondering though, is this the first of a new series or a standalone novel?

*Spoilers*

One thing I did notice however, was when Rigg was hypothesizing about whether or not he could send Param into the past, he would think immediately to the first time they had affected time, and how the "Wandering Saint" had recieved one of his furs in the past.

I just got finished with Pathfinder, and I agree that it is a fantastic book, probably one of Card's best.

*Spoilers*

The Acknowledgments hints strongly at a sequel, which will have humans from Earth checking in on Garden, only to be inevitably surprised that humans have been living on the planet for thousands of years longer than they thought. Personally, I can't wait for the sequel. I'm more excited for the continuation of this series than either Shadows in Flight or Master Alvin, and that's saying a lot!

I just recently learned that the Alvin series was incomplete and that there was a final book to come out sometime. I haven't read any of that series and am excited to begin, hoping that when I finish book six, he will have written book seven.

In regard to Pathfinder's sequel, it will be released in November this year, and it's called Ruins.

Thanks for the release date, richd!

I'm definitely looking forward to Ruins more than any other books (except maybe the next Mither Mage book).
