This will sound weird, but whenever Bob goes on one of his trips and comes back, I get a vision of the Cheers bar. I see Bob walking down to the end of the bar and everyone yelling Bobbb!!! [Big Grin]

Think of the similarities. Both of them are funny guys with great one-liners. Both of them have wives that nobody ever actually sees. I've seen Bob drink beer.

I guess this means Icarus is Cliff Clavin.

You have no idea!

Zan would definitely be the bar tender, but does that make him Woody, Coach or Sam? And is Mrs. Zgator ready to be Carla? or <shudder> Diane???

Anyway, I think it's getting on time for another CFC gathering. We've got to plan for the opening if Jai Alai season as well.

Thanks, now the Cheers Theme Song is running through my head.

That was a genuine thank you. I love this song...

A bit off-topic but I saw the title of the thread and thought, "I wonder how you pronounce the multiple B's." I understand the reasoning behind it (we clearly don't want people mistaking this for some sort of mammary thread), but how would you pronounce that? Like Bob but with a sort of motorcycle sound at the end? Or would you pronounce each B separately (Bob-buh-buh-buh...)?

You could spell it "BAAAWWWB" but that implies a Southern-sounding drawl, or "BAAAAAAHHHHHB" but that might sound kind of Bostonian.

I guess there's just no good way to spell it.

And now back to our regularly scheduled program...

It really should be Jon Boy as Frasier and T as Niles, given their previously established fraternal relationship.

Although I think T as Frasier and Jon Boy as Lilith might have some merit.

You know, Carla, it's a little known fact that the Saxons actually lived in houses, and not on cliffs at all.

Can I get a beer now?

So you're looking for someone who, while embarrassed by the femininity of his sons, still claims them as sons.

Good luck finding anyone who will claim those two as any relation.
