This, and the hate mail that comes up every time that someone starts this "I am kevin/credrios" crap is why I am leaving hatrack. A forum is not worth this kind of harassment. There are plenty other online communities out there. Even though I enjoy this one, I have gone through attempting to prove who I am repeatedly, I have offered to meet with forum members, because honestly I think it would be cool. But enough is enough, this is not for pity so much as to make everyone here know that I am gone so you can stop your little rants about me and stop the harassing emails. I will probably just wind up getting a new address anyway. Goodbye, please don't even bother contacting me, its obvious these people will not stop, they've kept it up over almost a year. This is not a fun place for me anymore. If you want to email me I can't guarantee I'll get it, I'll probably just get a new address because this forum is not worth this kind of stress.

I fail to see why it matters even if he is Kevin. I mean, assuming he's Kevin, he's clearly trying to change, he has a new identity, and his posts have all been well within the line of decency (as far as I know). So if DcM is Kevin I really don't have a problem with him continuining to post here...
Though I don't really think he is Kevin vis a vie (that's probably not how it's spelled...) Leto's "track-down" a while back.

Actually, and I've told Kevin this numerous times, it'd be so much easier to respect him if he'd cut out the threats and lies and come clean.
I'm not at all convinced by John's "test." What happened was a computer in Washington went to Grenme -- nothing more, nothing less. There's no way of telling if it was Duragon or a friend of his who lives in Washington.
Nobody even try to make the argument that because Duragon seems to have friends, he can't be Kevin.

Am I the only one who doesn't think this guy was Cedrios? I mean, Ced did stuff like getting himself ordained, and was really weird and jerky. All I've been able to find on this guy is some arguing. Lots of it, but nothing bad.

Duragon doesn't deserve this pogrom. He was a little rocky in his initial inflamatory posts but he has calmed down and become a contributing member of the hatrack community, much like the more recent Ryan Hart.
Why are you still out to get him? Even if he is Ced you have to forgive sometime. Holding a grudge about something as inane as an internet forum, even if it is a very special internet forum is really stupid.
Good heavens, I don't even know what to think. I was all excited about having my name in a thread title, too. Those waiting for displays of magic will be sorely dissapointed, I'm afraid. I'm indignant that anyone would think I would keep an animal around to do monkey tricks, but flabbergasted that someone would cast Lalo in the role.
Anyway, for the record: everything I've said is FOR the record. If someone is e-mailing him, then it must be from another place. I haven't, and I really can't even imgaine Eddie doing so.

I must say I am honored and excited to be given this role. There are so many other Hatrackers at this time that could do a wonderful job. I think it was my second audition that clinched it. I arrived attired in the dress Malificent wore in the denoument of Sleeping Beauty, and I believe that dedication really pays off. The director knows that you care.
I'm been trying to use to the Method acting technique. I've read The Mists of Avalon, the Crucible, and I Was A Teenage Witch four times now; I'm really getting a hold on this character. The power comes from the innate humanity at the core of each of us, but it was twisted when my character endured a humiliating childhood being forced to play the part of the chimp in her grandmother's traveling troupe.
You would think that experience would teach her compassion, but the compassion was dashed the day she tried to help an old lady cross the street. The lady beat her with two of the Tiffany bags and called the cops. That was the end for helping the world. The despairing cry in her heart WILL sound from the throats of every innocent soul.

It's not a matter of forgiveness, Anna Jo. It's just that unless there's some evidence that someone has really changed, it only makes sense to expect more of the destructive sociopathic behavior that they've shown repeatedly in the past.
I think everyone would be only too happy if Kevin changed for the better. Hatrack's a very forgiving community, and always has been. Kevin is never sorry, though, and hasn't show any signs of changing that I've ever seen. I see your point ak, and understand about Ced specifically. I probably used too much hyperbole in defending Duragon. As far as I can tell other than similar posting styles, which aren't nearly as accurate as fingerprints for identification, it is impossible to prove that Duragon is Ced. In fact he was given a clean bill by some of the most vehement Ced haters there are. Plus Duragon has apologized about stuff in the past which is very un-cedlike. He also has shown growth and change while he has been here.
I feel horribly for Duragon, aparently unjust accusal of committing crimes he didn't and thought he was an asset to the community of Hatrack.
Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

I recall that both Redskull and Baldar's wife (but not Baldar himself) also said they received hate mail from Hatrack; Redskull, in particular, said the hate mail came in such volume that his bosses noticed, and that this mail somehow cost him his job.
I still consider this to be a ghastly possibility, even if an unlikely one.

Maybe it isn't any of the ones who post. And maybe it's just one person sending a lot of stuff. But...I still don't think it's fair to judge and slam Duragon for only hearsay and circumstantial evidence.
He has always seemed to me to be fairly decent. I don't think he deserves this treatment, even if he really IS Ced. If he is, he's a reformed, very much improved Ced. One, I believe, who deserves a little tolerance.

What treatment? I did call him Ced, and then sat on my hands. You should have seen what he called me. This thread hasn't been hard on him; he's the one calling for a pogrom. What treatment exactly is happening?
Lalo did injure himself laughing so hard at him, but I think that's okay. There's the e-mail accusations, which just seems wierd to me, but I suppose there's a chance. Heck, if he isn't, maybe the real Ced is e-mailing him just to be funny.

Maybe the more important question here is "What is a music box chimp?" Most of the music boxes I've seen have balerinas inside of them.
Kat can embrace her role as a powerful sorcers. But what does Lalo do? I thought it was organ grinders that had monkeys. Do we need to get Lalo a calopie?

Okay. I just got some pretty conclusive evidence DcM is, indeed, Kevin.
It's kinda sad, actually. I was really liking Duragon. Which is to say, I was liking Kevin again. I have no doubt Kevin will come back as another incarnation, as it seems it's like a sickness for him to continue returning to Hatrack over and over again.
Kevin - I know you're reading this, so don't even think I buy the crap that you won't be back. I think I'd have a much easier time of it if you'd just reveal your identity and not be so smarmy about stuff. Your posting style seems to have improved dramatically, and while I still believe you have a pretty troubled mind, you certainly wouldn't be the only one the 'rack.
However, if you spin a web of lies, not because you fear disapproval and not being accepted, but rather because you're a compulsive liar then the next incarnation will be discovered, and the next, and the next. You will never be able to stop this cycle, and you will continue to leave in a huff under the guise of persecution and hate driving you off. It's a difficult cycle on this community, and it just makes you look more and more like a putz.
When you come back, which you most assuredly will as you cannot seem to leave this place entirely, come back as who you are, try not to lie every time you blink, and continue the posting style of Duragon. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to think of you as a part of this community if that were the case.
Otherwise, man, get some counciling and find out why you can't stop screwing with a frikkin' on-line community. Even you have to see that as beyond pathetic.
