Today, I met Pat, hansenj, Damander, and sarcasticmuppet on campus. My wife and Damander had to leave before we actually met Pat, but that just gives us an excuse to have another Hatrack thingy in Provo.
Anyway, while sitting at a table in the student center, sipping a Jamba Juice that Pat had bought me, I realized that today is my one-year Hatrack anniversary. No, this isn't a landmark. But we talked about Hatrack and life and jobs and all that stuff. We talked about how Pat now owes me only a dinner and a buck forty instead of dinner and five bucks. We also decided that he has to invite me over to play Halo sometime.
Anyway, I just wanted to remind Pat of his outstanding debt, and I wanted to see if anyone else wanted to have a Provo shindig in the near future. I still need to meet my colleague-in-law, advice for robots. . . .

Berry Lime Sublime, no boost. Pat tried to talk me into getting the femme boost, but I declined. He even asked the girl behind the counter if it was alright for guys to get femme boosts, and she said it was pretty rare, but it happened every now and then. I declined. Then she even started to try to talk me into it, telling me how healthy it is. Weird.

I typically go with either the Aloha Pineapple or the Orange Berry Blitz. If I get a boost (they are, after all, free) I go with the Energy boost.
I bet that one's choice of Jamba Juice reflects something about his personality, but I sure don't know what.

Yeah, and I had to buy my own Jamba Juice. But Pat did generously offer me and Jennie some candy from the gift he got for doing the seminar.
Oh, and I realized I've been pronouncing "Hatrack" wrongly. Pat and Jon Boy say it "Hat-rack" and I say it "Ha-track". Good thing they said it first, so I didn't display my ignorance.

D'oh! I always forget the dates. Of course, someone could have put a day of the week instead of "tomorrow" in their thread title. Trogdor
Still, I may come down for the Women's Broadcast. Yikes. That sounds wrong. The General Relief Society Meeting. Better?

I'm singing with the BYU Women's Chorus in the relief society meeting tomorrow!
Oh, and I had a fun time at lunch today. We definitely need to do it again for all the people that didn't make it, though. And, it was great meeting the infamous, Pat Poyfair.

I think jennie talked about that, or it was some other kind of weird juice. She said it was really gross.

Zuka Juice was bought out by Jamba juice. As I recall, the BYU one was one of the last ones to change. You know, I will always insist that Zuka Juice was better than Jamba juice, but no one believes me. (Especially since they claim they kept a lot of the same recipes.)
*sigh* Oh how I miss my Zuka Juice!

I always said "Ha-track" too. I always thought it was easier to say and nicer-sounding than "Hat-rack." Also, it works better with "Jatraquero." Is there a "right way" to say it?
And just because Jon Boy and Pat have dozens of aliases doesn't mean everyone should jump on their bandwagon.

It's almost definitely pronounced "Hat-rack," since it's named after a river named after a place to hang your hat.

I agree with DD. Ha-track just rolls off the tongue. Besides, we've seen how the characters of the AM series butcher names, who's to say they don't actually pronounce it Ha-track?

Where's Celia? I think everytime someone has a BYU get totgether we need to play a whole bunch of board games and psot what a great time we had and how much fun it is when you live right next to your fellow Hatrackers.

If we ever go to Jamba Juice again, I promise that I'll get a femme boost. I'll do my best to order it with a straight face, too.

well that's just mean. Jon Boy's just jealous because he can't miss a shave without risking failing a test.

Ohh I know. I actually techincally own two copies of the paperback (though I can't find one of them...). Celia found me a hardcover copy and then they canceled my order.

it's not in thier database anymore...odd...either someone snaked it out from under you in the few minutes between me linking you and you purchasing it, or you're card was declined, or the seller hadn't updated his inventory in a while. if you want to call them directly and ask, come by my office.

Thanks Celia, but the e-mail they sent me clearly explained that either the seller was lazy or someone had come in and bought it off of the shelf.
