...behind my other login, even if it is kind of nice to have a member number below 4000. So, in honor of my two-thousandth post with this name, I give you a true landmark.

Plus I'll answer questions if you've got any.

Wait, I do have a question. What is the composition of Baking soda? No I'm serious. I know you're not a chemist, but it's killing me!

First of all, sensei, what is that?

Also, what is the secret to enlightenment. I know you're withholding it from me...

That is a picture of Half Dome, one of the more well-known landmarks in Yosemite National Park.

Can I reasonably assume that this thread needn't be archived?

I think that's a safe assumption. Especially if you're OK with making an ass out of you and mption.

I got lazy. And I decided that it was silly to try to hide from a landmark. If I don't feel like posting about it now, I won't, and I'll either wait until my next 1000 or until the muse strikes me.

Hmmm, I came in here because I thought someone was playing hide 'n seek, and they were tired of hiding, and I was gonna tell them, hey, after an hour you should just stop hiding because they've probably given up looking for you.

Now, I've become confused because sodium bicarbonate has only one carbonate and the carbonate still has the minus two charge as an ion just like in sodium carbonate when it dissociates, so shouldn't it be sodium hydrocarbonate, or sodium bicarbonate should be the name given to Na4(CO3)2 (if it exists)?

The bicarbonate ion is also called hydrogen carbonate. It can be thought of an the combination of a carbonate ion (2-) and a hydrogen ion (1+).

And don't forget the Pic.

Grats on the Landmark. Does this mean you can claim that landmark as your own personal landmark since it has chosen to reside in your landmark thread?

How much land would a landmark mark if a landmark could mark land?

Which landmark would Mark land if Mark could land a landmark?
