Apparently, some student barricaded himself in a bathroom a few halls over. He claimed to have poisonous chemicals, and the building's being checked out now. There's no danger to my hall, and I don't think anyone was hurt.

I have to say, though, that I'm a little nervous breathing the air around here now. I hope it turns out that the guy was just lying. I'd hate to be one of the residents of that hall. [Angst]

Yeah, that's about what the truck looks like. The lights are on now in the affected building, so I guess they decided it was safe.

Wonder how the roommate of the culprit feels right now.

Hmmm...turns out this was more of a suicide threat. He was apparently threatening to harm himself rather than other people. The evacuation was a precaution.
