I have to present my project on Achilles and there are more than a few names that aren't used in my daily vocabulary and thusly I know not how to pronounce them. If anyone aware of the correct pronunciations for the following names (or places) would share their knowledge with me, I would be more than appreciative (especially if you could tell me what syllable receives emphasis in Telephus and Deidamia). [Wink]

Briseis
Chryseis
Agamemnon
Aulis
Mysia
Telephus
Deidamia
Hephaistos

A good many of those names can be found in the dictionary.

Most all of these can be pronounced as "DAY-duh-luhs."

When I saw the name used here at Hatrack, I always assumed the emphasis was on "Duh."

I assumed that Hatrack was pronounced HA-track, not HAT-rack.
