I pretty much had to give them up when I got married. Also feel ambivalent after the whole child abuse allegations. What do you all think?

Ew. I hate that guy. He is such a DORK. He always complains about himself and plays the same character in all his movies. For example, in Manhattan. What the HELL was he doing dating that young girl and having the NERVE to complain. Arg! He's irratating!!!!

I like them well enough. Annie Hall is one of our favorite films, mainly because our relationship is so similar to theirs in the first half of the film.
And Small Time Crooks was the first movie we saw together. I was just thinking about it the other day... it was fantastic.

Well, insofar as he always plays the same character, I think he peaked out with "Hannah and her sisters". Though I did think "Hollywood Ending" was pretty funny. I guess I get to see them once they are no longer new release videos. I watched Annie Hall again last year because it was listed on Sigourney Weaver's filmography.

Sleeper and What's Up Tiger Lily are among my favorite comedies of all time.
I think the premise behind Zelig was pure genius, but the movie sucked.
On the other hand, the premise behind Small Time Crooks was sort of lame, but the movie was brilliant!
I don't think Manhattan and Annie Hall have stood the test of time very well. Too bad too. In their day, they were amazingly funny and poignant. Today, they probably just seem dated and forced.
