People are asking me what I want for Christmas, and I don't know what to tell them! I know I want some games for my PS2, but I don't know what cool stuff is coming out. If anyone can give me some suggestions, I would give you 1 billion dollars.

Do you hang around on any gaming sites or read any gaming magazines or watch anything like X-Play to help you know about new games coming out? Perhaps if you did, you could figure out some specific things you would want... I would recommend Simpson's Road Rage (I have it for Gamecube) and I've heard good things about Need for Speed: Undergound. What kinds of games do you like?

*holds out hand for her 1 billion dollars*

Hmm, I'm the wrong guy for PS2, Xboxer here, BUT, I can say "Simpsons Hit and Run" is PURE enjoyment. It's hilarious, and unlike other simpsons games, you'll CONTINUE playig it the day after you get it. It's like Grand Theft without the guns and carjackings. The Simpsons nicely get into the passenger seats of unowned vehicles, which you still control. I was a bit dissapointed in it's length, but I doubt anyone will play it 6 hours a dose. I believe I'm shedding far more light onto my personal lif, or lack there of.. hehe.

Anyways, chalk that to the list.

Sorry for being so unspecific. I pretty much like them all (except sports games). The gaming magazines don't always match my taste.

I would recommend that you watch or read info from X-Play (it's TechTV's game review show that I linked to up above). Also, you could try checking out some of the suggestions from this thread (yes, I realize they were talking specifically about X-Box games, but many of the same games also exist for the other platforms).

Well, it's hard to suggest things for the PS2 when I don't know what kind of games you like. Most people who play the PS2 like RPGs, so there's FFX-2 that just came out. Dark Cloud 2 has been out for a while if you haven't played it yet, the first one was good and this is one is better. I don't know which one I'm getting for my boyfriend for christmas. Max Payne 2 just came out today. Deus X is going to be released for the PS2, it's already out for the PC. Prince of Persia is already out and I've heard that it's a good game. Ummm, geez, I don't know what games you played because I could give you a bunch of past games on PC and PS2 and they would be cheaper too! [Wink] Well, I go to GameSpy for my information, I never heard of X-Play I've got to check it out.

And a side note: I can't wait for Halo 2 to come out! [Big Grin]

I don't know anything about games, but when I first read your thread title I wanted to say "Did you look under your bed?"
