My mom was astonished that I don't watch TV or read newspapers. How can I be so oblivious to current events? I then realized that I get all of my news from internet headlines and get all the opinions on my news from Hatrack. And I seriously trust the opinions of Jatraqueros to be informed, and I ususally get a good look at both sides of an issue. In fact, I think I prefer Hatrack news to any of the major networks.

Call me crazy...

I'm sorry, was there a question in there? [Wink] I get annoyed when Hatrack News is not on the ball, and I am forced to learn about things elsewhere. [No No] Fortunately, this does not happen too often.

You're crazy. [Wink] Well, you told me to. I do agree. It's fascinating to read the plitical and news discussions on Hatrack.

I was just kidding about you being crazy, but it does say to call you crazy at the end of your post.

Would this be a good time to give the latest update on the German cannibal? [Wink]

The trial is still going on...

I subscribe to Hatrack News as well. *grins* I used to read the newspaper daily, but it kept getting stolen (darn condo). So I gave up on the newspaper, and soon found I didn't need to read it anyway because anything worth knowing was likely to be posted either here or on my LiveJournal's friends list.

It's OK Derrell, I really am crazy. [Wink]

And I guess there wasn't a question in there, was there, Rivka? I was just looking for some sort of validation in my crazy justifications, I suppose.

Hatrack is the source of most of my news, too. I skim the headlines of the Times, but that's about it other than this place. And sometimes I'll see the news on my way to and from the lunchroom...
