An interesting thought.

Why choose a single President for the United States? Why not have a Presidential Counsel?

It seems like the best ideas for our country come from when the candidates are vying for position. Once a person is elected, however, most of those ideas or promises are thrown by the wayside and we're lucky if they even get archived. If we have multiple people standing in as 'President' and vote on there choices, life would be great, right? Of course we would have to change a bunch of regulations and the way bills are past.

Of course this is coming from a guy with a Political IQ of 20

You can even think of it like a football coaching system. You've got the Head Coach, the Defensive Coordinator, the Offensive Coordinator, and the Special Teams Coach.

Not to mention, the president is really only supposed to execute the enforcement of laws, not write them (though executive orders have rendered this distinction fairly indistinct [Smile] ).

I think that's what the Prez's cabinet is supposed to do.

You mean a counsel that will make the laws?

Like a senate?

Even though you elect a president, you're actually electing the president as the figurehead of a ship full of ideas. Even if the canditate may be terrible, its not just him or her making every decision, its him or her and his people, thus giving a more moderated set of policies.

At least, its supposed to be.
