(Hey, since Kama is from another country, it's a world tour for her!)

So we know "she" is coming (I just hope she isn't one of those big computers like in Tron or 2001: A Space Odyssey, that would be hard to tote around).

So we need to plan.

Firstly, likely dates for the "Boston Experience" would be useful.

Secondly, I think a day hike in some of the mountainous hills of the northern Appalachian Mountains would be good.

However, while I have hiked my fair share of trails in the area, mack is the undisputed kick-butt queen. She knows all the nooks and crannies of the local peaks better then a quality tester at a Thomas' Bakery plant. [Smile] So, I think she should take the lead on this. That way, if it sucks, we can blame her, but if it works out beautifully, I'll take the credit for starting the thread.

That's just the way I work.

So lets get to it!

I've never been to Boston in the fall.

Or the late summer.

Yeah, well, August tends to be hot (80s) and humid.

Serious Ick factor, without the benefit of Cor [Wink]

<-- feels so loved [Wink]

Boston and Philly are on the after-the-Con list. I'd like to go back home on 27-28th August, so basically it would be somewhere in between 16th and 27th. I think.

Do I go Philly or Boston first?

K.A.M.A. is coming to Boston??? Wow.

If you come to Boston after August 19th I might be able to go to whatever gathering ensues. I don't know if this will encourage you to plan for sometime after the 19th or not, but I thought I'd just put it out there...

I watch too much Veggietales obviously. When I read this, I couldn't help but think of Larry singing (from "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything"):

"Well, I've never plucked a rooster
And I'm not too good at ping-pong,
And I've never thrown my mashed potatoes
Up against the wall!
And I've never kissed a chipmunk
And I've never gotten head lice,
Aand I've never been to Boston in the fall!"

I've never been to Boston in the fall, either. Or any of those other things, for that matter.

Kama, Philly and Boston are probably about the same distance from Chicago, so I don't think it matters either way.

I love that song. [Big Grin] My favorite part is "And I've never painted daisies on a big red rubber ball"
