Basically, you look at the list and decide whether the item is hot or not. Then you can add your own items to the list.

I think you should change the rules slightly -- when a vote is cast for something, it's done. One vote only. Then add one thing to the list, so the list always has the same number of items.
Froot Loops -- not. I have scars on the roof of my frequin' mouth from those things. They never soften in milk.
