I was going through the oldest threads I could find. Now we will probably have to bump this once a month to make sure it doesn't get eaten in a Freeze, or I could save it on my computer.
So what are your predictions for a year from today?
Personally, I think Bush will still be president because only one senator has successfully challenged a governor since the invention of the televised campaign. And that was Bush's father.
I will still be at home, and expecting twins. What they heck, we will see Hawaii and go on an Alaskan cruise.
After Rachel and Leah Card will work on Shadow of the Giant because of the upcoming Ender's Game movie. But I am not speculating on any casting at this time.
Elton John will headline a new Las Vegas wedding chapel called "The Gay Mirage".

1. I'll be even more in love with Chris than I am now.
2. There will have been at least one other major terrorist event in either Spain, France, England or the US (or during the Olympic games in Greece).
3. Two well-known celebrities will get engaged to each other, only to break it off before the wedding.
4. A legally-wed homosexual couple (probably from MA.) will challenge the Defense of Marriage act in Federal Court.

Okay, yeah, that very well may happen. Edit to add I don't think any Marriage amendment or act supported by Bush will come to fruition in a year to be challenged.
