[ROFL]

My father-in-law is always bewildered when he starts talking about sports, and I tell him that I don't follow sports. *Any* sports. I couldn't tell you five current professional atheletes.

Shares in mph's father-in-law's bewilderment. However, you're not the only one I know that doesn't follow sports.

I have to worry about people who say they don't follow any sports. It's like someone saying they don't like any books.

I can understand not following sports, but to be so out of it you could not name 5 sports starts? Do you listen to the news? Read the paper? Listen to the radio? Do you just skip over sports stories intentionally? It seems like you are making a point of pride to remain ignorant of something that is a fairly large part of the world. I am not saying that you have to keep up with everything, but to not know the names of Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Shaq, Kobbie etc almost shows an intentional desire to remain ignorant.
