Ok as you know I'm nutty and going on vacation so I can go to my dog show Nationals for my breed, Cardigan Welsh Corgis. They are in St. Louis, the first week in May specifically the 3rd through the 8th. Some of the days I will be less busy than others, like Monday night. I don't know when Dan_Raven is coming back from Russia but I know there are others of you in the area too. I'm going to actually be staying in Lake St. Louis at I think a Comfort Inn. I would love to see any or all of you down there if it is convenient.

To complicate things further, I'm going to be in Madison, Wisconsin first because there is a dog show we want to do the weekend before as a warm-up for the National. I'm thinking of driving up on the 1st, a Saturday to lessen my driving burden. I will be busy on Sunday since after the show I will be driving from Wisconsin TO St. Louis, but I could hang out with people on Saturday afternoon or night. CT, Tom and Christy? Up for a quiet afternoon at home or going out to dinner or movie something? I'm not picky but I love hanging out with you guys!

there are lots of dog shows in Indiana... I'm sure I'll be heading down to Indianapolis sometime this year... though it might be in the summer.

We'd love to see you [Wink]

We've been staying pretty close to home and I'm not sure how good company I'll be (it sorta depends on how I'm feeling and how much sleep I got), but Saturday afternoons are good for us.

Cool! Thank you for responding Christy I was wondering if any one saw. I totally understand that you don't want to overdo.

I think I will be sleeping in the RV at the dog show site so I'll have to figure out distances and directions again.

This is where the show is:

INDOORS at the

ALLIANT ENERGY CENTER - EXPOSITION BUILDING

"A 255,000 Sq. Ft. WORLD CLASS SHOW FACILITY"

Fairgrounds Drive • MADISON, WISCONSIN 53713

Awesome, AJ! I would love to see you.

We should figure out some specific meeting place & time.

I just got called in to cover for someone who is sick -- which is a bummer because it's my first day off from these brutal overnight 12-hr ER shifts in, like, 3 weeks -- so I'm swamped for the next few hours, but want to talk tonight? Let's get things moving. [Smile]

(Can't wait to see you!)

You know, it's occurred to me that not only have I never seen Anna's dogs, I've never seen a dog show.

sorry I didn't call tonight, got home from work and crashed. 3 hour nap and I'm going back to sleep shortly.

If you were going to the dog show you could come either Saturday or Sunday. I would recocmmend the mid to late afternoon because that is when the "group" judging is, not the individual breed judging. The individual breed judging is much more boring and I believe at the crack of dawn on Saturday so I don't plan to get there until well after it. Normally there are bleachers and chairs to sit on, but if Christy came I'd reccommed a cushion or bringing her own comfortable folding chair.
