There are a few exceptions (it really depends on the person), and they can look good on some people, but for the most part, nope.

Without. I go for the no piercings look myself. There might be a few guys it looks good on but not enough to reccomend every guy goes out and does it to look the same.

Piercings are sexy on a guy with the panache to wear them properly. If a person wants a piercing, I'm hoping it's because he or she feels it is attractive or meaningful and will sport it as such. However, if you have to ask for opinions, then it becomes much less sexy.
Also, piercings are more appropriate in some contexts than others. They might be sexy, but are they PRACTICAL?

Don't do it, dude. They can look good on lean, hard guys, but you've got the soft, friendly look going for you. It'd border on the ridiculous. Take advantage of what you have -- if you use what muscles and soft charm you're currently sporting the right way, you shouldn't need to fall back on a pretty piece of metal stuck through your flesh to get a chick.

Frisco's a good example of why this wouldn't work. He's a total sex puppy, but his sex appeal lies in his charm, not his danger -- and god knows the man can't rely on those looks to get him women. If he got a piercing to look like a badass, it's rather like Mr. Rogers sporting a naked woman tattoo on his forearm -- the jarring contrast between who he is and who he's trying to be would ruin whatever sex appeal he would be trying to cultivate, if not go so far as to turn the man into a parody of the image he's trying to live up to.
So, yeah, don't. The tattoos you have are bad enough. Sorry, dude, but heh, what the hell inspired you to get a green unicorn?

Noah, I've seen pics of you and I assure you, you would look great with an eyebrow piercing, but I'm afraid I didn't read all you posted. You don't sound like you even really want one. I agree with Jenny as well. If you aren't 100% sure that you want one, do not get one.
I have my tongue pierced and it took me nearly 6 years to be sure about it. I encourage you to really think about it first. Do some research and make sure all of your questions have been answered.
Know who is going to be doing the piercing. The person who did mine also did a piercing on my friend (bellybutton) and I was much more relaxed.
Also, the great thing about piercings is that if you change your mind about them, you simply take them out! Not so with tattoos, which is why I will never get one. I would change my mind the second it was finished being inked.

Piercings can always be allowed to close up if in 20 years they no longer seem to be something you want. Tattoos will not fade away so easily.
I'm in the "with" camp. I think piercings are very cute on guys. Noah, I can't speak for girls in general, but the contrast between your sweet smile and open personality, and the earrings, hair, and clothes of your style is quite piquant to my sensibilities. If you were not an Australian or I was not in Australia thinking Australians were all awesome and hazzarding a wild guess that you are within 40 miles of my local I would say that was the most blatant display of braggery that I have ever seen in my life! I'm gonna have to echo here... some guys look great with eyebrow rings, (excellent example linked above) some look silly, and it's mostly a question of personal style and panache. And I think the answer to if you can pull it off or not lies in the question of if you're doing it because it's a look you like and you want one or if you're doing it because you think ladies think it looks sexy. If you're not 100% sure you want one, screw what anyone else thinks, then don't do it.
Gotta tell you, though, that it is my favorite piercing, beyond earrings. I've considered getting one myself from time to time.

Noah, having met you, I think you're one of the few people I know who probably COULD pull off an eyebrow piercing without disfiguring the top of your face.
That said, you would look even more like a surfer dude than you already do.
So that begs the question: how many trappings can one wear before one becomes the thing? If there's no significance at all to it, why bother? It's not like you're unattractive now, for God's sake. But if there IS significance, what about the semiotics of piercing appeals to you?

Getting my eyebrow pierced didn't hurt at all. They just rammed this needle through and there was very little pain. Less than my tat.
I've had several different eyebrow piercings through the same hole, including the standard ring and a way-cool bar.
I've since taken it out as it was growing out on it's own. I'm letting it heal before I decide whether or not to put it back in or not in a year or so. I loved having it in, felt very funky and I really miss it.

I've considered getting an eyebrow piercing, and also a belly button piercing. I get quite a strong urge for a belly button piercing from time to time. But the only problem is that after my ears were pierced in 5th grade I developed very bad allergies to all metals. No matter what sort of earrings (purest gold, surgical stainless steel, or whatever) I try to wear, my earlobes will swell up and start to hurt, get infected, turn all red and even start bleeding. It's not exactly the most lovely decorative thing, you know? So I only wear clip ons now or usually none at all. I'm pretty sure any other piercing of my body would do the same thing. So it would be really stupid for me to try, I think. Still I get these urges. My theory is that everyone has a certain freakiness factor that must be expressed in some fashion or other. I have a moderately high freakiness factor. It will find a way to expose itself to the world. Maybe I will have to get a crescent shaped tattoo on my forehead like Sesshoumaru or something.
