Postal Service spokesman Gerry McKiernan says "marketing goals had shifted from increasing international business, the reason [the Postal Service} signed its first deal" with the team, for $1 million a year in 1996.

The US Postal service cannot go out of buisness. It's part of the constitution. I never understood why they feel the need to advertise in the first place.

A it says in the link, they were trying to attract buisness. I mean, it's given the same type of garuntee but do you think that Miscrosoft is in danger of going out of buisness? Thy advertise to increase buisness, not to keep themesleves from going under.

It was so cool to see them in the Tour de Georgia this past week! Armstrong won, natch, but it was still a great competition.

OK, but *why* do they want to increase buisness? Is it just people wanting to increase the size of their little kingdom? Or is it true that "Less business for USPS = higher stamp prices for you" ?
