My oldest daughter Sophia is four. My mother wrote for her as she talked about what she wanted to say. I think my kid is both cute and pretty sharp for her age. By the way, Abbi is my younger daughter.

quote:
Dear Dad,

Sunday after Grandma and Grandpa picked us up, we got ice cream. There were kids playing baseball and we watched for a little bit.

We took a walk and watched a movie.

Monday: Grandma and Grandpa went to work and Aunt Jaclyn and Aaron stayed home to watch us. In the morning, Aunt Jaclyn stayed with us and we watched cartoons. She went to school and Aaron watched us. We made monster mix. We took a walk and we became queen of the rocks. We had lots of fun.

Tuesday: Aunt Jaclyn and Aaron took us to the children's museum. We saw dinosaurs and a pond with turtles and fish. A lady talked about beavers. It's feet are webbed to help them swim. They make lodges and damns. They warn the other beavers when it needs help with it tail when it splashes it in the water. We ate jelly and peanutbutter sandwich and yogurt. When grandma came home from work she found everyone asleep. Abbi never woke up, she slept straight thru the night. Sophia ate dinner and then went back to bed. We were very tired!

Wednesday..... Aaron gave me piano lessons and he recorded us singing. And we made monster pie. Aunt Jaclyn came home early from school and grandma came home early from work. Grandma took us to the Y to go swimming but it was closed and we couldn't find the water park so we went home and turned the sprinkler on. We painted the sidewalk with chalk and outlined our bodies. Then we sprayed the sidewalk down. We came in the house and took a warm bath. We fed boomer and then Grandpa came home and we had dinner. After dinner, we had ice cream. We all went to bed early.

Thursday. WE will let you know how our day went!

Kids, gotta love 'em. Though, the older they get, the harder it is. I just keep repeating the mantra.

We were in Dairy Queen the other day and these three, totally adorable 2-3 year-olds came in. My son said, "Aww, they are so cute." (He really wants a sibling, something I would have thought he'd have out grown by now.) I replied, "You're right. They are adorable. Unfortunately, they'll eventually be 13." (Which is my son's current age.) "Hey, that's not nice." was his reply. At least he got the joke.

Sounds like they have a lot of monster they need to use up at Grandma's house. Those guys are bigger than they look.

Cute letter! Queen of the Rock rocks. Also Empress of the Escarpment.
