My stepdaughter is a dancer in the tour. [Smile]

Warped Tour

Note: This begins my hopefully lengthy career of living vicariously through my children and grandchildren.

I might get to go backstage at the July 24 show in Chicago.

*rubbing it in a little further [Wink]

(I'm sure you will, CM. Hang in there. Say are you near Chicago on July 24?)

When the article mentioned punk, I was wondering how a dancer would fit in with it.

This explains much.

She's a paid dancer, and she was the top female [snowboarder] in Vancouver. She almost represented Canada in the Olympics, but she didn't pursue it. Could have, though.

Did I mention that I'm her stepmother?

Is it clear how cool this makes me?

Very cool, I'd say.

Thank you, Jim-Me, for your entirely appropriate adulation. And the cookie.

Of course, I had nothing whatsoever to do with the raising of this young woman, but I am delighted to take credit for her activities.

It's only fair. It's like hazing -- what was done to me I do to others with utter disregard for rationality.

Congrats on the highly talented child - I applaud the fact that you are feeling free to bask in her reflected coolness! That's one of the perks of being family.

*cough*

(can't stop coughing - must be the air quality in the city I live near...)

I've been child-free this weekend and think that is a way cool thing . . .

not nearly as cool as CT's report of her familial linkages, of course!

Applauds enthusiastically for CT (yay - you go, girl!)

But, but, if CT makes sndrake real on July 24th, then I won't get to in August! *sniffle*

Of course, CT is cool. That goes without saying (and almost did).

*smug

Jim-Me, I will share my coolness. There is plenty excess to go around.

Tammy, I misspoke. She was the top female snowboarder in the Vancouver area. During the winter, she'd support herself in snowboarding competitions, but she made most of her yearly income planting trees up north in the spring.

rivka, [Kiss] . You remembered to acknowledge my coolness, which is yet further proof of your coolness.

Draker, naasty cough there. We have a drug for that.
*eyes twinkling

Shan, of course, exudes the Cool. All bow to Shan. [Hail]

(Steve, wanna come? Let's do it!)

That's still pretty darn cool.

[Grumble] *wishes she was the top female in any catagory*
