I just came across a link to an email service offering a 1G account. They require you to sign up for at least one "offer" before allowing the account. I'll let you know how much spam I get.

The storage on Gmail is good, but the displaying of those messages is what I like. A forwarded or replied email gets grouped automatically with the original message, not displaying the copied text (if there is any). This creates a thread-like readability.
Which is really cool for PBEM D&D. I've been enjoying it.
It's a beta version right now, so there are still bugs. I haven't had any of the reported problems with it yet.
And my hotmail account just got bumped up due to the competition!

Storage space on an email account is like a credit limit on your credit card. If either is consistently maxed out, then I'd say the problem is yours and not nec. the service's shortcomings.

I do...but only when I don't clean out the spam for a few weeks. I'll have to be more on the ball now that it's almost fantasy football season.

You know, it took me about a week after I received my gmail invitation before I could get into the site. Since I finally was able to get the link to work, and created my gmail account, I have been unable to access the site even once. It's been very frustrating.

I'm sorry to hear that. I haven't had any problems. I've even been able to access it via a supposedly unsupported browser.

I can put my spymac inbox in a messageboard type view, with thunderbird. That and there's a search feature on the webmail side. That was the two big things about gmail, right?
