Some of you have seen this before. Heck, I've known about it for years. But I just felt like sharing it for those who have not yet had the pleasure.

That was a Japanese children's song. Some weirdo decided to make a video to it. He includes "lyrics" as he thinks the Japanese words sound roughly like certain English words. They don't, really, but it is amusing nonetheless.
I think the song is really catchy. And only about the first third of the video amuses me. Then I get bored.

I must say, I found this video to be repetitive and uninspired. I couldn't help but compare it to the Yatta video (that was the same guy, wasn't it?), which was genuinely funny. This one was just tired.
The attempt at pretending the Japanese lyrics were really English gibberish was only mildly amusing this time around. The English used was forced, however, and did not sound much like the Japanese lyics at all.
But then, I might be biased in that I already know what the Japanese lyrics are.
The song, if anyone is curious, is about Pokemon. The title, "Hyakugojuuichi", means "one hundred fifty-one", and refers to the number of Pokemon in the original incarnation of the game and show. The song can be found on the Japanese Pokemon soundtrack, "Pokemon Kakeru Ka Na?"

I know that we've had an ongoing debate about the importance of "Free Will" and all--but would a truly compassionate God really allow stuff like that to exist?

Thanks Bok! I enjoyed watching that again. You're right that is far more entertaining, and it never gets too old.

I think the fact that it combined Colin Machery, Jay-Jay the Jet Plane, Mr. Bean, and Pee-Wee Herman in a single animation... proves that inside the insanity, there may be a tinge of genius.
