So, I've wondering if this sort of thing has happened to anybody else...
While I was running errands yesterday, I drove by a high school group having a car wash. I don't usually stop for such things, but this one was for the high school orchestra. There's a soft spot in my heart for high school orchestra fund-raising (and plus, my car was filthy), so I pulled over and got out while they washed my car.
I gave my donation and was talking to a mother (I guess?), who was telling me about some of kids washing my car. At that point, she pointed out Allegra, who played bass at IU. My ears perked up, and I said, "You know, I think we may hang out on the same online forum..." The mother went over and spoke to her, and sure enough!
So, Allegra and I met yesterday, completely at random. Anybody else ever randomly encounter a hatracker you didn't already know in person in a totally unexpected place?

Hmmm... I've never met a hatracker on accident... Although, I knew Alcon before he was around here... and for a few months befor ei realized he was on here...

I drove up as you were talking to Allegra and I saw you talking, but I didn't know who you were. She didn't see me until you'd already left, so I was like, 20 feet away from you and didn't get to meet you.

blacwolve: doh! So close! Well, I've been promised information about the high school concerts at some point this year, so I'll probably be meetable at one of those.
Also, there's the campout, if you're going to be there.

Night Of Dance, Bloomington North High school, November 5th, either 7 or 7:30pm, lots of fun, but less formal music, and you can actually dance. Tell your friends. $5 admission (unless they change it)
