Heehee...hang around the hobbits, they drink more. And the more they drink, the more they tip! *hands ale to Pippin* *collects tips* *passes more ale around*

*nudges Eruve* Hey, you know, if we work hard enough, maybe we'll be the only two who qualify, and then we'll each get two of the men! A twin each, and a Son of Gondor each! That sounds wonderful, if you ask me.
*serves more ale to the dwarves at the bar*

Come now, wenches, let the rest of us have a chance! ::catches the look Bernard gives her and quickly becomes interested in her ale again::

(I think so too - especially since Mayday was silly enough to bring her boy in here - that's not going to get her very many tips!)

Sure, you have someone to buy you stuff. But what I'm after right now isn't the tips themselves, per se. It's the title of towel girl that these tips are going to earn me!
More ale, boys? Fantastic. *bright smile, quick wink, fill the pockets*

Is the fight almost over yet? I think the men are winning...
Gimli, you want MORE?! *sigh* Ok, but just as long as you get someone else to drive. *serves Gimli more ale* *winks* Oh my, what a big tip! I guess you don't see women very often...

It's pretty even, wait, Elrohir pulls a move that hasn't been seen for 400 years. No way Faramir could have seen that coming! He's tiring, so he calls in his brother Boromir...
Boromir's fresh strength is more than enough to have Elrohir panting on the floor, but now it's time for Elladan to enter the ring. They're circling, trying to get a grip on each other..
Meanwhile, it looks like Vana and Eruve are leading the Wench Towel-girl competition. No one has taken Jenny up on her bet, that the Men will win. C'mon, aren't there any Elf Fanciers out there?
We have some very tipsy hobbits and dwarves. Thorin and the Lonely Mountain Boys are wondering when someone is going to get around to their table. They're causing quite a ruckus. And I'm wondering if one of you lovely Wenches might tempt Bard and the Men of Dale? They're not drinking much at all.

Ohmygosh! Are they even breathing? Boromir and Elladan are frozen the perfect statue of muscular competition! Neither of them seems to be gaining the upper hand! But Faramir and Elrohir and now leaping the lines and getting into the fray...
Eruve and Vana are fanning towels their direction. Looks like the ladies will be busy tonight!!
And still no winner. Won't anyone take Jenny up on her bet?

Oh no! Faramir is down! Elrohir is straddling him triumphantly, while poor Faramir lies still. I can't bear to see the pain in his eyes.
But what's this? Finally the doughty Man of Gondor has broken the stalemate - Elladan rallies - they go down! Boromir is defeating Elladan!
So the match stands - the wisdom of Elves defeats the wits of Men, but the Strength of Men prevails against the strength of the Elves.
Ladies, Faramir and Elladan look as if they need some consolation. Boromir and Elrohir, on the other hand, want to celebrate their victories! I'll leave the succour of Men and Elves to you, my fair Wenches!
Now, for the Hobbit pile-up! All comers, enter the ring!

Wenches, make sure you drop by the Mistletoe thread. Not enough kissing is happening over there! Bring some wassail, too.

Oh, I didn't notice that the hobbit pile up had started! *squeals with delight* I claim Pippin!!! *takes a ruuning start* *jumps into Pippin's arms* *piles up*
(I found out that Billy Boyd is 5' 7". That means a hobbit is a half foot taller than me! )

This was so much fun. My favorite part was when we got the Honorary Wenches to mop the floor for three days.
