Tomorrow I'm getting my first pet, a large rabbit. I have never had a pet of my own before, just cats that have adopted me and all the animals I bought into the house when I should not have done that.
His cage has been built, it's very large, but the bottom is not good enough though. His stuff will hopefully arrive tomorrow and then I'll pick him up and possibly traumatize him getting him home... [Cry]
I hope I'll be a good pet owner. I am hyper worried. Rabbits have such delicate systems.

If you weren't worried, then I'd be worried. I think it's a good sign. [Smile] Good luck.

Just a note, I don't have a pet, but I have contemplated the situation. I would be concerned about the safety of any pet in my apartment, and my ability to devote time for caring for said pet.

Mostly I am worried about the wires. I am not sure if my boy is a chewer or a digger. He had a towel near him when I visited him Friday and kept trying to dig at it each time he passed it.

So why a rabbit?

I don't know.. They are just... appealing. Cute, long-eared. Interesting. They also don't require too many shots... [Dont Know]

You will have to tell us stories about your bunny. I always wanted to know more about rabbits and how they interact with human friends.
