OK - has anyone seen the print edition of the Wall Street Journal? It is in my opinion the ugliest newspaper possible. My roomate gets a subscription to it (though he never reads it) and it disgusts me to open the door in the morning and see it laying there on the ground! It has the worst design ever! And it smells like newspapers.
The front page is like 5 columns of size 8 font, with NO pictures. There are pencil illustrations of the editors instead of photographs. I've never opened it to see if the actual articles are as cluttered as the front page.
But hey, the Wall Street Journal does make recycling fun.

I got the Journal for a semester, if you're a student 35 bucks gets you 6 months (or maybe 5, I don't remember) of both print and online access. I loved the lack of pictures and the way the information was just packed into the paper everyday.

I'd rather complain about its remarkable bias, but YMMV. And, hey, it looks better now than it did even ten years ago; you're too young to remember when adding splash color to WSJ was considered controversial.

I prefer a sober lack of colour in my newspapers to the vulgar, aggressive assault on the visual sense that most tabloids seem to prefer. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but less colour is equal to less nonsense, in my mind.
